Disclaimer: As required by California Law, each signer must present the notary with a non-expired state issued photo ID card such as a driver's license, passport, or senior citizen’s ID card. If one or more of the signers does not have this identification we can only proceed with the notarization if there are two witnesses present at the time of signing who personally know the signer and who can vouch for their identity. Neither witness can be an immediate family member of the signer and neither can be named in the document(s) being signed and/or have financial stake in the document(s) being signed. Each of the two witness will need to provide valid state issued photo ID such as a drivers license, passport, or senior citizen’s ID card.
